Outwards
Name Mylum, John -- master of ship:
(The Bristol port records verify that the John left port February 1, 1701 for Virginia, but Richard Pope returns to Bristol in the John, December 1701, as the ship's master? Richard Pope, the above merchant-passenger. This pretty much verifies the previous speculation that this John Mylam, master of the John is the same John Milam who died in Virginia in 1701, and his will/probate proceedings were recorded at the PCC, as stated by the next record.)
The Complete Book of Emigrants, 1607-1776
December 1701. Grants
made in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury, London: Administration of John Milam of Bristol, who died in Virginia.
